This notion of normal being magical reminds me of those videos of cows being released for the first time on grass. The cows are experiencing something magical, but cows + grass is just ordinary. I used to use this story to exlpain why collective dialogic practice (when successfully pushing through all the constraints of social anxiety) was magical precisely because it found the ordinary ground of social interbeing. Maybe there is a koan in here somewhere.
